Re: Birds Football
Don't you want women to have a distraction from racing across the battlefield, scything down blokes with the swords attached to the wheels of their chariots?

Re: Birds Football
Blimey

I see the issue of birds football has widened

On that theme, I ask you, is there a single birds version of any sport even vaguely watchable from individual merit?

Sure, if we are playing blind bird marbles in the bean flicker games, I want us to trounce the Bosch/Septics - on a point of principle, but really?

Sport is a man thing, passive war, male protagonists watched by males - birds wash the kit and make the tea

Mixed professional football will never happen and the reason is quite simple the ladies like 99.9% of men will never be anywhere near good enough

When are they going to go in for Sumo wrestling?
That could be entertaining.

Did she forget that she could use her hands?

I thought that,
but the number of times you see a wayward back pass and the keeper dives to stop it and uses hands is NEVER given as a back pass

When I was in the last year of Juniors, one of my mates tackled Trevor Brooking*, who took our PE class as a one-off...

... it seems that the boys beating** the Women's World Champions falls into the same bracket.

*who held back, obviously not wanting to send a ten year-old flying in a full-blooded tackle

**in an informal kick-about, just before an important game for the women

And given that the world's 'best' female team did indeed get trounced by an U15 American college team shows exactly where the ability level lies.

Why do certain people need to keep pushing women into the equation.

Most sports women have a massive disadvantage the chaps - its a biological/physical fact,

The closest I can see women to men is possibly something like darts, or even possibly tennis.
